Welcome to Port Elliot Primary School

School History

Port Elliot Primary School has served the south eastern Fleurieu Peninsula since 1853. We have a strong community focus - parents and caregivers play an active role within the school, through classroom support, library and sporting programs.

In 2007, the school and co-located kindergarten moved to a new site adjacent the Port Elliot Showgrounds. The school enjoys joint use of the showground's oval. Enrolments at the school, which caters from Reception-Year 6, have nearly tripled since 1991, in-line with a general growth of activity in the local area.
